Our clients are Mathews County families who have unfilled needs because of low income, illness, loss of a job or unexpected accidents.  Clients are expected, but not required, to be on food stamps (SNAP) which must be confirmed by the Mathews County Social Services Department before any services can be provided.  The Social Services Department is located at 536 Church Street, Mathews, VA.  The telephone number is 804-725-7192.
